Emergency medical technicians (EMTs) and paramedics are often the first to respond to an emergency medical incident. 所有完成EMT的学生, AEMT, 或护理人员 program must take and successfully pass the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians cognitive and psychomotor exams to become certified as an EMT, AEMT, 或护理人员. It shall be the purpose of this program and the EMS Technologies of 桑福德健康EMS教育 (SHEMSE) in coordination with 北达科他 State College of Science (NDSCS), to educate and train EMS students with the cognitive (knowledge), 精神运动(技能), and affective (behavioral) learning domains required for entry-level competency at the level (EMR, EMT, AEMT, Paramedic) the EMS student is enrolled in.
